Do you think this site i.e."Yaho_ Answer_" should be closed?

Did you Know....there used to be another website named "Google Answers" which was closed due to following reasons:-








Google's policies prohibited answering questions that would obviously lead to or contain:





Copyright infringement and privacy violations.


Plagiarism in homework assignments.


Discussion of Google Answers itself, or about Google policies and mechanisms (PageRank, for example).


Links to adult oriented sites.


Promotion of illegal activities (for example, how to make a bomb)

Do you think this site i.e."Yaho_ Answer_" should be closed?
I hope not.... but I can see why they would. I just logged in to see if I could research a legitimate question and the 1st four questions on my welcome screen were all rubbish! One asked about wiping their anus, another was why r their points, another was barely English.... just silly. People either have no common sense, weren't taught to use their "filter" or are simply getting dumber by the day! It seems any good thing will come to end given the general behavior of our society.
Reply:Well for the moment..yahoo answers is alot of help for people...who find difficulties in doing thing or are stuck with a prob about there computer.....i think that these things are being monitored, dont you think?
Reply:As for my opinion, Y!A will not be closed or shut down same reasons with what happens to Google Answers. If Y!A remain same like before it was started then it will be getting better as it gets older (for the years to come).





If Y!A imposed fees on every questions here, then there are possibility that they might lose 90% of its members or populations.





Hope Yahoo! Answers will always be Yahoo! Answers for everybody.
Reply:I have never answered a question in Yahoo Answers before but it has helped me a lot...after google search this is the place where i search for answers or results...

Reply:I don't think it should be closed, but it probably will be shut down in the near future. There is just too much abuse going on in some of the categories, virus files being passed around, harrassing users, bullying, etc. The quality of this site has degraded over the last few weeks and months. Stupid, inane questions like "Am I pretty" or "Should (name) be banned for stupidity?" seem to be the norm in certain categories.
